Thank you, Aram :) It's the late afternoon light and smoothness of the tracks and train, I think. This was a moving train, I have other interesting shots of this train with crushed metal cargo, which in that light looks like silver bullion.

Nice curves, nice lights, colors and contrasts. I cannot say exactly what but there is something very special and attractive in this composition. The only comparable formal elements are the railway curve and the cynlindric shape of the wagons... and the flowing light.

Continue to be pleased watching it! Thanks!

Very good perspective, I like the glowing tracks all along. The orange patch of light is mysterious, at the same time a good contrast to the grey steel of the wagons. All in all, a very fine composition. Grat: Gyuri

This is a fascinating image, Ina.
I've viewed it several times, trying to come up with some words to explain why I find it so appealing. Truth is, I can't explain it... I just like it! :-)
The repeating elements, the different shades of the cylinders, and even the lighter section of wood at the lower-left. All of them contribute to a very captivating image.

Best regards,
Bob

It's really good to use UF therapy! You just coined a new term! I'm glad to see both you and Kathy here - group therapy - LOL.

Hi Kathy, don't look for a superimposed image, because there isn't any :) this time it's just cropped & color adjusted! How do you have time for this??? You & Susie must be super-organized!

Beautiful parallels, one in full, the other empty. The image has a very gorgeous poise! Perfect composition and restricted colours.

You were up a long ways Ina! I love the composition and the shapes in this photo. The straight round tubular train and the bend in the tracks make for an interesting presentation. Well seen! :)
