When I first came to Japan I thought (from a distance) that persimmons were late-season oranges! Now, the fact that the fruit survives and ripens after all the leaves have fallen makes them a favourite subject of mine for photographs... and this is good one of Fuji San. I'd be proud to count it among my own, given the opportunity.
