Dear Maryam,
In my previous response to your comments, I forgot to tell you that after doubling the background layer, I often flip the overlying one, sometimes horizontally, sometimes vertically and then move it etc.

Thank you for your very kind comments on my "Hibiscus composition 2", "Double hope" and "Inverted wineglass."
As to how I did it, I don't rememer exactly, but in general lines I used the same technique in all three photos: double layer, move upper layer with movetool and then apply color-gradient or various filters, such as solarize, find edges, using one, the retracting it when I don't like the result, trying another until I find something I like.
