red color is not perfectly managed as well as the focus which is very selective disturbing me a bit in this case

Incredible color George! I've been trying to photograph some red geraniums in my front yard and I just can't get the red to come out right, looks funny, but your image and tones of red are amazing! And those dew drops, fantastic!

There's no flowers in London either! This is a real in your face flower, the colour is radiant and the water droplets make it look very succulant. Great shot and I think the depth of field is fine as it is.

Thanks, Eb. I agree about the dof, but--as usual--there were factors to deal with. The flower was in the shade, and there was a slight breeze. I notched the ISO up to 400. This seemed the best compromise. Appreciate the comment . . .

Very nicely done! I never tire of roses centered on the canvas. Perhaps I am asking for the impossible, just a little bit more DOF?
