What a great find. I realize that you are setting mood with the low contrast but I would love to see a version with a near-white point in there as well.

Thanks Fabrice fot your comment. and yes I was thinking about the sky but I also want to show the grandiosity of the entire landscape. But you are right the sky could be more expressive, I will show the photo to my photoclub and hear what they are thinking about it. Perhaps they have some suggestions. regards, Femke

Thank you Kiarang, I understand what you mean by :hard to write about this photo but you already know I like to show the simplicity in a photo and besides, when you are at the beach you know how insignificant you are against the power of the elements of nature. regards, Femke

Nice perspective and good angle of capture Femke. one regret, the sky is "flat" and since it takes the 3/4 of the picture, it gives rise to a feeling of missing tones.

Well, composition study is the brilliant element of this shot.although it's hard to write about this photo, but this shot with this composition exactly showes the simplicity of photographer. that's why i interest!

Really interesting,but would prefere a bit more sharpening in foreground fence,good anyway!!!
