About These two people were very gracious to me. He was surprised when I had a light meter and put it in front of him. We got into a quick conversation about the camera, and they said this was something they were used to now. Told them how I post on the web, for a web site called usefilm. She was excited, at having him home, he was tired but good to be home. They had a small disposable camera and an older man got their first and took their picture for them. I felt lucky to be small part of their homecoming. Technically, my light meter was 2 stops off, Just found that out today. Still like the way it came out. I hope they are both doing well. thanks for looking.

What a cool story!
I think there should be MORE narratives like this on Usefilm, to share what happened prior to the shutter's release. Thanks for that, Mark.

Neat Mark, it gives a feel for being from early WWII days, like a copy of an old snapshot sorta....

You've caught something magical-regardless if it came out differently that what you had intended. Something so significant. Congratulations!
