I don't see any burned out areas at all on this new version. You're right, this is more of a Perspective than Moody Landscape.

nice comparision and combination, Jeanette; like the possible story I can imagine here - this can, old rails and the train in the background :-) make fantastic story good usage of DOF and diagonal composition leading my eyes from one important point to another one; well done regards Lukasz

This is a fantastic angle of view! It looks dangerous, too! I love the crushed can, semi-rusted, in the perfect corner for the composition! And the warped & twisted wood ties, almost seem twitching in pain! The far away car which we don't know if it's coming or going, adds to the low perspective, as if I'd want to move beyond the picture frame (raise my gaze) to see if it's moving. And finally, the yellow grass, neither green (hope) nor brown (dead) adds an element of uncertainty! Superb, and a favorite. Love your new bio picture Jeanette!

Ciao Antonio. I choosed to not crop the grass since the weagon on the rail is IN the so called story and important in my shot, therefore also some grass has to be visible ;) ...and the grass it self are ALSO in the subject since no rails in use has this high grass growing!!!

Hi Jeanette,
a very good example for out of focus composing. the trash cam catches the eyes, then the eyes follow the rail to the horizon. The framing by the grass is also wisely done.
Overall, a fine one.
best wishes, Thilo
