I love the different textures, colours and contrasts. The smooth bright green and red against the rougher looking dark background is so effective. Mary

Yes Ray it is a great lens, I'm starting to learn a few things about macro! I love to crawl around my yard and just take anythings that moves and some things that dont.

Darlene, This captures the essence that is late autumn. A few bright splashes of color and a dark bankground. Well done. Ken

fantastic colors and details, only you can take a picture of a single leaf and make that good with it. Great job.

This picture really moved me. It seems so forlorn and poignant. The gray of the ground has a lot to do with it, but I think it is that large black leaf and the smaller ones that contrast so well with the colored ones and create the feeling I am trying to explain. Beautiful . . . Regards, --George

Now here's another take on the single colour leaf on the monochomatic background. I like the splashes of colour in the smaller leaves in the image. Nice effect and still in keeping with the mood. Cheers - Ann :)

Always kinda sad Darlene, these late Autumnal shots. A few new colourful leaves fall but so many that are rotting and we all know what comes next. I'm pleased to see you using what has become my favourite lens. I try to do every and anything with this lens. Best wishes to you..Ray

I like your isolation of this leaf against the background, Darlene and all the smaller leaves, like satellites, around it. Dave.
