The VERY cool thing about this statue is that she first cast each branch/twig in bronze, and THEN welded it all back together. This whole thing is bronze, but looks quite convincingly like wood until you get up close and touch it. ;)

we have, or had one out here going toward Mt.Rainier that is made of driftwood,so guess it is popular other places,too.....good capture against those mellow yellow leaves...nice perspective,Paul
