Thanks for your comment on my bird picture Kenneth. I see you are attracted to our Avian friends too. I wonder what the comming pandemic will do their numbers? Even here in New Zealand, isolated as we are, the 'experts' are gearing up for it's impact.

Yes Ken, got back last Wednesday. It was beautiful and I had a wonderful time with Runie, the 5 year old grandson. I spent most of my time playing with him! Stayed at the Arizona Inn, incredible place, I think it was built in 1929 or so. It's been busy here since I got back and just catching up now! Darlene

Ken the background DOF and colour really enhance the beauty of the composition. I love the off centre diagonal line of the branch [which has great texture] and then the two sparrows with their lovely detail and colour tones Excellent

Great shot! You've captured them well.
Not 'JUST' a couple of sparrows, you know - in Britain, where they used to be ten a penny, they're pretty thin on the ground these days (for reasons experts know all about).
