Looks like it could almost be Death Valley or elsewhere in the Moajve Desert. Quite rugged terrain. I take it you hiked many mnay miles to get this shot. Right? ;) Very interesting lighting indeed. Makes for a great abstract. Cheers - Ann :)

well i guess the sun is just a really really big floodlight!! hahaha. Yes, I found the lighting on this one very interesting as well, enough so to post it here. The little thumbnail sure doesn't look too appealing though... Thanks for the comments. Gary

I find the lighting here very interesting. It almost looks artificial, like from a flash, or floodlights. I think it adds an interesting overall effect to the photo.
