For an "amateur playing with toys", as you define yourself in your bio, Mr. Wilson, you make damn good photos, including portraits such as this one of your son & the self-portrait, but others as well. Quite good repair of the "red-eye" effect. Thank you for your very kind comments on my recent photos. You're right, of course, about the over-sharpening of my "Bee", but the original was, IMHO, worse. You are, of course, invited to read my bio & pay further visits to my portfolio. Best regards, Rafi Springmann

Very penetrating stare he has there. This photo really reminds me of Degas -- what he would have looked like as a boy. Perhaps a decendent? Lovely portrait. Antonia

You got that right. The red eye was the result of some poor use of an old camera. It left me with some work to do. Thanks for the comments Ray.

Hi Ron, why do our kids have to butcher themselves? My two daughters and my step-daughter all have iron distributed around their persons!
That said, he looks a handsome young man whose father has caught him in great pose and cropped the result just nice. Is that a red eye wound i spy? Good portrait Ron..Well done, best wishes..Ray
