About	On the way to "A Hidden Place" there were several miles of this prarie to drive through. The old Hash Knife Oufit used to run cattle out here. As the sun became a bit overcast, the prarie took on a surreal look. I tried to capture it, but I don't think I could do it justice. I shot this from a tripod with the mirror locked up. PS for cropping and sizing only

I gave in to a common human failing... I was in a hurry. I screw up more photographs by getting ahead of myself. One would think that after all these years that I could slow down the pace a bit. And, if the truth be known, I was getting excited about seeing a place where I hadn't been in over thirty years. Shame on me.

DIfficult one. A telephoto to bring those mysterious tumps (mesas?) up closer might have done a good job.
