About	this is the weirdest house i've ever seen, few hundreds meters distant from my apartment... many houses in my quarter have some element in gothic style (heaven knows why...), but this one beats them all... it has got a quite high turret, mutilated statues in the yard and strange faces in the walls... and, last but not least, mendes goats on every gate!! quite fearsome, indeed... i don't know who lives in there, but i'm not so sure i'd like to meet them...

Yes, the detail in the gate was the first thing I noticed in the big picture... No wonder you titled this the way you did. It does look a little goofy though, like a dog with curled up ears instead of a goat's head with horns...
