Bellissimo scatto. MI piacciono molto le architetture antiche... come avrai notato facendoti un giro sul mio portfolio.

I understand perfectly the attachment to ?pointless photos? ? I have too many to count! Yet it is your attachment to this picture and the obvious fact you ?invested? in it ? you took the shot, treated it AND uploaded it ? that compels the viewer to pay attention and respect the effort. I also truly appreciate things that stay below the conscious radar, things that compels us and we?re not aware why ? I think most art hovers in that territory anyway!
I also happen to like this picture ?for some unknown reason?! Not really unknown! The title here expresses the sentiment well and the metaphorical play is funny already even if the joke maybe lost on younger viewers. But there is also a vibe in the toning that appeals - a perfect toning for a good pointless picture.

you know, reidar, i fluently speak norsk... no, of course i'm joking! i can't remember where i saw this expression, maybe on some folk or metal album... i think it's a simple but nicely patriotic concept... all for norway!

very nice, like it in B&W!

A neat place but... the texture of the stairs blend with the rocks on the left. Maybe a shot a little from the side would feature the staircase better? Toning is pretty heavy for my taste but I realize that it is a pretty personal preference... Cheers, S.
