Neat shot, I would go tighter, with top and bottom little elements eliminated and just the glacier and its reflections

Je regarde vos photos et moi aussi, des fois, je me pense ok; vous êtes ok+. Très belle photo de cette neige, se reflétant sur une eau qui lui renvoie sa couleur. Belle abstraction, moderne. Merci, drilan

Love the ripples and the line of reflection. Cool shot!
Like others I'm not so sure about the rock in the foreground. I think it needs to have more foreground to achieve your aim of anchoring the shot, or removing it altogether and let the abstract stand on its own.

Very nice photo. I agree that the foreground rock distracts a bit, but does provide a check with reality. The photo is an excellent abstract.

Hi Christian, no I wouldn't clone it over, but it's not a no-no to me... I just prefer to scan the slides and let them be what they are on their own. I do very minor colour/brightness adjustments while scanning and do some cropping afterwards, but that's about the extent of it. Maybe someday...? cheers, gary

Would you clone the rock to the third on the right ? Or is this a no-no in your book ?

WOW...great blues and I love the ripples in the snow. Very coooool (as in brrrrr) abstract. Such stillness in the water...or is it ice? hard to tell it's so still. Wonderful image.
Thanks also for taking the time to view my images Gary. I don't often reply to them as they come in on the actual photo thread. Your comments are valued and appreciated. Cheers - Ann :)

Now Yukon! Wow, Gary you're going places! Love to bits this gorgeous abstract with snow, I'd get rid of the rock, but I can see your point... I removed the zoo picture (the cheetah) from my site, but kept a copy of the web page, so the comments are not lost. Regards, Ina

Hi Inji. That little black bit in the foreground is just a rock. I thought it might just "ground" the scene and give a bit of perspective to it. I did think of cropping it out, but ended up leaving it. Thanks for your comments!! Always nice to hear from you. Cheers, Gary
