Ok now, I've gone through the series and am drawn back to this one, for all the reasons everyone's mentioned already!
I like the B&W tones I like the angle I like the subject matter There isn't anything don't like.
Picturing you driving along, eyes peeled, looking for old barns... :))

Interesting textures and perspective. An old weathered barn window with character. Very nice!

I like this minimalist BW, Kathy. Excellent tonality and texture, the slanted axix makes it eerie, removed from reality. Grat: György

Hi Kathy...as Susie says you are the crop queen! This is going to be an interesting departure from your usual subjects. Looking forward to this.
This shot has wonderful textures clearly depicting the aging process. Well seen and shot.. Best wishes...Ray

It's grown on me...it's a different presentation, I had to look at it a few times. I like it Sissy. You are SOOO brave! It would be fun to play around with different croppings on this too...but you are the crop queen so I'll keep my nose out...:)

Hi Kathy! I love your barn window, and the angle. Great composition with the tattered wood boards and six window panes with great contours. I must be on the same wavelength with you and Susie: yesterday I posted a cheetah (I removed it later)- Susie a lion cub; then she dedicated me the harvest composition from Vegas, and I had the basket; and I was just about to post (guess what?) my barns... but I'll wait to see your series! I'll have to get out of synch with you two!!! LOL!

I really like the shot and the b/w turned out great. The angle will have to grow on me. (It's probably the thing everyone else will like the best, I know!) Just MO. :) I like the idea for the mini series...barn windows are very cool indeed...all weathered with so much character. Looking forward to the rest! See you Tuesday.
