I really Love this one. I could go on and on about it like some of the above and sometimes i do then sometimes I realise there is no need too. Kind regards Harvey.

Excellent job, here, wonderful picture of a great mood and also well composed. Also the exposition is perfect, f.i. the detail in the bark of the "shaded" side of the tree is amazing. The colour is great, the violet pinkish tint adds "eeriness" and creates the atmosphere that is so captivating in this shot. I do not know if you by intent (playing around with the sky?) left in the colour noise in the sky, typical for low light shots. I would love to see what eliminating or reducing it, would do to the picture.
Regards Jörg

Dear Kevin,
A delightful piece in it's nocturnal essence that is for sure to immediately catch the eye of any viewer in the audience. I though would prefer a more square format placing the tree at the left thirds allowing a more concentrated and appreciative indulgence. The added noise has been removed which I particularly didn't care too much for. In converting it to B&W which I think works quite well also there was no adjustment to be performed concerning contrast so the color was exposed or presented properly.
Thanks for sharing ...

Oooh!
Moonlit nests and fibrous ground and skies.
I am half expecting Michael Hesseltine to make a comment, and then for people who still have compassion and common sense to trample him down.
Within 15 years, this desert-like part of the UK will be under water.
Kevin, what is it you are playing around with? Our future? Heh?
Yeah!
