Great work, Pan. The historical significance of the landscape is an integral part of your vision, it seems, and your ps work really does make it surreal, this one like a still from an old BW film, perhaps Nosferatu. Very well done. Tim (Thanks for your comments on my "His Pride and Joy". It is work like yours that keeps me coming back to the possibilities of layering!)

Wonderful mood. Utterly beautiful scene. I'm always astounded at how you not only capture/compose a perfect picture, but also turn it into the most thought provoking artwork. It's a true pleasure returning again and again to view your work Pan.

Very powerful, Pan. I like as the greenish-bluish shades now have been replaced by browns on your recent pics. A very strong, individual style. Best, Gyorgy

You're in a league of your own Pan, this is really nice, excellent sepia tones. A scary feeling as you walk down the rocky road..you wonder if something will reach out and grab you. I love the textures of the rocks in the foreground, nicely composed...great work...Linda

Hi dear Fabrice! I always like to manipulate my pictures and giving them an "aout-of-this-world" feeling but in this case i had some more reasons for doing so.The sky was dead-flat (this one here is added later)and the background was a little out of focus. Have fun! Thanx for commenting.

Wow, what a strong atmosphere you create here Pan. This is really nice. I like the perspective in your shot. Sometimes, I'm asking me, how is the original? And in this one, one can have a small idea as one can see people in the background. This is a nice composition Congrats Fabrice

exceptional dark and moody, the composition rocks the viewer off its seat with its old time beauty... like mourning the loss of these ancient times... makes one wonder how many feet have traveled that stony road in deep concentration and faith for the Great Mysteries to be held at the end of it... mou thimise thn tainia "agelastos petra" kai parasyrthika apo th thlipsh twn katastrofwn gia all tosa omorfa merh ths istorias... melagxolika omorfh eikona... bravo Pan... emy

Hi Joanna, i'm fine. I've heard that Poland is a beautifull country too and what i've seen from your pictures, Bydgoszcz is a wondefull city to live! As for my autumnal pictures, there won't be any! I have decided that Athens will have sunny, summer weather for all year long ;) Stay tuned! Soon, i'll post some more pictures of ancient ruins. You'll find them interesting as a historian. Have fun!!
