Many people, myself included, might have searched for the perfect leaf for this shot. I appreciate the way you've used leaves that are not only colourful due to natural decay but also show signs of having been eaten by insects. It's easy to forget that nature harbours not only great beauty but much ugliness too. It's a wonderful portrayal of this.

Hi Mitra, I love your maple leaves, the pink color is quite special, and beautiful, and the green background make the leaves stand out. I love the grey spots, too, very romantic image!

There's someting appealing about your image, Mitra! I don't know if it's the colors of soft pink and vivid green or something else I don't seem like able to figure out at the moment but .. it's a success by all means. The shot was taken from a great angle and the soft baground is awesome .. nice details, not sharp enough though .. and a bit of cropping of the right margin of the image to bring clear focus to the main subject would give it a big favor. :)
I'll do it for ya and tell me what you think as I will sharpen it for ya and do some color enhancement too!
