Thanks Michael. This was very early in the morning, and somewhat nippy with frost on the ground, but worth the effort of getting out of a warm bed.

Neat shot! The sets of intersecting converging lines add terrific interest. The platypus looks to me like the futuristic submarine from the movie: "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". I suppose that dates me! Well done! Steve

Very nice catch indeed Bruce, I have only seen a platypus in wild only a few times - all at nighttime, they are quite elusive. I really like the interesting patterns created by the ripples in the water, and their interactions with the reflections (branches?). These ripples, along with the platypus, evoke a sense of movement and results in a dynamic picture, well done!
