If you call my handholding a green card behind the orchid on my coffee table and trying not to block out all the light from the window behind me a "studio" shot, then yes, it is :)

Wow, what a stunner!! Great clarity and depth of field, but aside from that, the lighting and exposure here captures the subtlety of the blossoms very very well. I have shot a few of these flowers (or tried to) and I find that it's easier to lose the subtlety that one would think. I think the black/dark background is working to your favor here as it helps to reveal the veining in the petals. Is it a studio shot? Excellent work!
