About While everyone was photographing the waterfalls I noticed the patterns of the docked boats and the weird foam...

soo.. is so really good idea and compoistion, nicley the diagonal cut, i like it the way it is, maybe for me, and MHO, the cut and diagonal it must be still more strong.. the moment is remarkable that you has waited for the patterns on the water, so natural in contrast with the geometric boats..when is possible if have all the last boats in the frame the effect of "full" is perfect!
also is so good the wideangle curves..
have composed my idea (sorry).. i hope my idea is clear..

well done and best wishes

Good seeing to capture this shot. The contrast between the symetry of the boats and the shapes in the water are great. The water looks like satin. You're right, this is wierd foam, but the textures of it are intriguing.

Thanks for your comment. The water is not bad at all. The foam is from the waterfall just upstream, in combination with the mineral content in the water. As to cropping the top, yeah I thought about it too (great minds think alike). In fact it's been cropped already but maybe not as much as you would. I usually try to keep my photos in proportion, not too wide or too long.

ooo, that water is bad... makes a good shot though. I suggest cropping the top a little to get rid of the dark left corner for maximum effect. well seen. cheers
