....at school we used to get up in the middle of the night, move with stealth, down to the lake, take out the canoes in the moonlight,(have a smoke!)have a laugh...not too loud, sound carries across still water, back thro' the dormitory window before dawn.....just such a place as this, lovely, well done Roby. cheers, david.

Querido amigo, veo que vas poniendo fotos de cuando en cuando, pero cada vez que lo haces, nos sorprendes con algo grande.
De ésta imagen, me gusta la atmósfera que desprende. El movimiento de los juncos que están en primer plano, y la imagen misteriosa de la barca medio escondida. Un magnífico trabajo.

Per quanto abbandonata sia quella canoa, sembra abbia trovato calore fra gli steli di quelle piante.
La loro posizione è quasi di difesa nei confronti della canoa.
Ne è avvolta!

A beautiful composition Roberto! The sweep of foreground to background is very broad with fantastic DOF. There is a dreamy mood in the apparent softness of focus on the boat, lost in the reeds. The mood in this shot is very strong beautiful and hauntingly beautiful. The low clouds and far distant mountains create the perfect mood of autumn melancholy. And the verse you have chosen to accompany this image is perfect in it's fitting mood, but also rich with meaning.

hi,Roby....my first thought was of that bible story about Moses (?) as a baby in the basket floating down the stream amongst the reeds....
This is a very strong comp full of interest and beautifully composed...love the FG soft light,the grass details and hues and the BG clarity with the contrasting blues/whites/black silhouettes...

Outstanding image with an excellent composition. The grainy almost rusty colours in the foreground creates a great contrast with the stark cold clouds along the left horison. The boat also add a nice balance and point of interest. Very well done Roberto - to my favourites 7/7
