I love the mood of this photo! perfect lighting and i love the gray cloth over her head. The subject also has the perfect pose for the scene as well. I dont know whats up with that gray bar at the bottom, I think it needs to go(personal preferance).

I think this is a great shot, both the lights and contrasts of the portrait are very good and it does capture the kid's expression. Now, something that distracts me, and I know it is your personnal touch, is the frame and your signature. The fact that is less dark as the background, it force me look a it right after I see the kids face.
Any way, I love this shot!
