Hi Mani, Thanks for stopping by and for your nice comments .. well about this shot .. and nearly all in this series I can say that I've used pretty slow shutter speeds .. so this is what you get with slow shutter speeds .. try it .. it's great how water changes it's charecter with every change in the shutter speed .. What you should consider in these shots is the composition you choose .. a great composition for low speed water shots certainly won't make a good "freezed" water capture ..
Take care .. Have fun ..
Best wishes from Iran, aLi

This low level shot really works here, I of coarse like the soft blur on the water but I also like the detail and lighting of the background. Very well done. Kind Regards Lee

Ali, This is a beautiful time exposure series! The thumbnails do not do the image justice. There is so much more unexpected detail in the background than you can see in the thumbnails. Very much like an oil painting. Both are really well done. Maybe a slight nod to the composition of the first one. Great job

Hi Ali, I see we both made the Front Page eh? How cool is that? Anyway, I MUCH prefer THIS shot because of its dynamism and up-front, sheer impact. I think with a pic like this where the real focus is the running water you were right to devote most of the frame to it. By comparison, I found the background trees in the previous photo rather dull, lacking in any interest or appeal. Best wishes and congratulations! Anthony.

Hia.This is sooo beautiful, boy ! I just feel I am there ! It is so real,so clear ,so exciting .This photo feels me with good feelings. The water moving in high speed excites me,and motivates me 2 face life and even risk it sometime, and the trees standing still, help me feel so safe, calm and relaxe at the same time.

Hi Ali, I'd just like to say that both "Rush" pictures are stunning. Composition is great on both. But I have to disagree with Kathy and Janet, I personally think this one is better as I like the turbulence of the forground. Great work.

Wonderful use of the long exposure Ali, it almost feels like i'm right there, getting my shoes wet. To be honest, I prefer the previous shot as the background in this image contributes more unlike this one. By the way, the name really suits it - try checking out a Flash Cartoon called Rush 2 ++, you might like it :P Keep up the great work!

Ali -- Given my fondness for slow-shutter, in-your-face water shots, I was quickly drawn to this version; however, in my heart I still preferred the other image. I couldn't say why until I had flipped between the two images (repeatedly). The far-side stream bank in this image nearly divides the image in two equal halves. The prior image places the stream bank further away from the middle and, to Kathy's point, introduces a third compositional element: the shallow water in the foreground of the stream bed. I do agree that the little branch in that stream foreground is distracting, but I still prefer that image. As TV icon Homer Simpson may say, "Stupid branch!" Both shots are of superb quality, Ali. Keep shooting!

Another fine image aLi!!! this one feels like the water is coming thru the screen at Me!!! The slow shutter really gives the water a teriffic, silky look!!Although this one is very good I prefer the first one a little better for the fact that You can see more of the trees. Take care aLi! My best.............................John
