Beautifully moody and a bit eerie...so vintage! I expect to see Loch Ness peeking out, or someone from Deliverance to stroll by. I love this a lot!! Congrats, Bea!!

hi GG !! I know what you are thinking ! I was taught strict sharp details ! I strived for that. I bought cameras for that ability ( hasselblad, Rollei tlr ). I still want that requirement of sharpness for portraits and certain things. This polaroid and toy plastic cameras brought me to a different level of loosening up. Going more for the mood and feel of things. The imperfections bothered me at first. but now..I kind of like it. because it's not so demanding and restricting. It's hard to get certain moods with a tack sharp camera. so..I understand what you are thinking...but I'm having fun in the process and feel free now. however..I still use my trusted tack sharp cameras and lenses when wanted. art ? I don't know ? will they sell ? funny thing..I seem to get more offers to buy my stuff that were done with the holga versus the hasselblad. not bad for a 20 dollar camera when I'm selling one image for 1,000 dollars ! (still in the works..crossing fingers..they want to pay that much ! ) hoping hoping hoping !! thanks !

Hello Bea, this is an image that leave me thinking. I try to explain better. I really like it , I love the imperfections left from the Polaroid chemicals. I also like very much the soft effect of the pinhole. ...but in a world of digital cameras where everything must (?) be perfect, sharp and clean... who will appreciate this art? Probably this is the difference. This is art, this a something made by man with his hands, with also the imperfection of the man, but unique...
I don't know, it makes me thinking... mumble mumble
Bye 7++ (really really ;) )

Omar..lol ! yes but the Rollei is so sweet isn't she ? the defects...weird but I was always a stickler for sharp details....but I like the moods the polaroid creates. I'll go back to the rollei. I just like to play and try different things. unfortunately I get bored easily. then it costs me money to buy new toys..lol loving your work with the Rollei my friend. I'm glad you don't regret that you bought it because of my recommendation !

Lovely Bea! Its got a great atmosphere and the the 'defects' only add to the image.. I need to move on from the rollei and do more experimenting, but you got me addicted to the rollei! Omar

Good shot Bea, the long exposure has given the water a lovely smooth, ice like texture.

Polaoid... that's the instant stuff? Love the concept of a pinhole camera with it! A real giggle. Nice scene. Still giggling here.
