Mark, might I ask what filters you used to balance the upper and lower portions of the image?
... or is this two images with different exposures?

Excellent. The gradation to bring out the sky darkened the pine trees, which is unavoidable with film.
Could zone treat with levels in Photoshop for a little pop and zing, but I think this version is just incredible and would not alter the purity of the shot.

Great shot, nice depth and range of subjects. I like the range of colors from blues and greens to the just sunlight white and orange peeks and of the mountains.
