Colin - thanks for your comments on my digital effect autumnal colours - glad you liked it. This image in your portfolio caught my eye - it's very strong and surreal - very nice work - regards Jeff #:0)

Excellent shot!
Not having previously been aware of the world 'Elurophobia', I thought these were the eyes of a wolf when I saw this as a thumbnail! It has more than a little something of the night about it, anyhow..

Thanks Jeff. I am canon-less at present. As I tried to get one on US ebay, but had to report 2 sellers for fraud! My borrowed A95 has gone back, (for now!) and am left with the old pentax snapper. An artist without a paintbrush...

Great comment Jude, Cheers. Tosca says he appreciates it too! Meeeeeeooooooaaawwww!!!! Boy can he wail. When he wants his food.
In fact I did use PS for the layering of the eye green. Also rubbed out the noise within the vertical pupil slits, to make 'em really dark, and hopefully, sinister.

Great image, Colin, and interesting technique. I sometimes forget that you can get amazing results without using PS! Toss Tosca a hug for me...he sounds like a very cool cat.

WOW Collin, very good work. Great shot and post-
processing. Wonderful pictures. The cat's eyes
are too much agressive and real. I love it. I
like the 'grains' too.
Congratulations my friend. 7

A bit of photoart is good for the creative soul, Maluisa! This was an experiment - I took an original image, printed it out with a black and white cartridge, so the blue-grey was missing. I then retook it. Rubbed out the eyes. Then layered in the original. Not quite sure if the effect is surreal enough, though.
