About This is from a second ?lemon? series, shot a few weeks ago. I didn?t upload anything from this session immediately as I was suffering from lemon-overload.

Once again, this is a lemon dropped into a vase of water in natural sunlight, with no PS except for cropping, framing and the usual sharpness enhancement. The only significant difference compared with the previous series is that I played around with the ISO setting, following George Black?s suggestion - this one was shot at ISO 200.

This one uses the same round vase as previously. I?m hoping to get hold of a tank of some sort for future experiments?

Many thanks, Aziz. Your comment is spot on - this is an old image that I have since reworked in PS.

Amazing. A very unusual 'bubble' shape, dramatically different from the ones I've seen so far. How did you do it? Shoot it into the vase at the light speed? ;))

Hi John,

You seem to be experimenting with these abstracts quite a lot recently. I have to say I find them quite captivating. Are you having any of them framed and put on the wall somewhere?

The colours in this one are particularly good, the sun-light on shining on the left is very catchy.

Also the simetry of the air bubbles is excellent!

Regards,
Ciprian

I reckon you should rotate this 90 degrees clockwise - and re-name it 'propulsive lemon' :)
Very cool AJ - I love the silvery, bubbly bit - it's so sharp and symmetrical.

Fascinating, John. No lemon overload here... I wonder how many you had to take to get something this perfect. Love that yellow/blue colour chord.
