You're right about technique and content...but I hadn't taken any notice of the background at all with this shot (and I usually do see drawbacks). To our right, I think there's some plastic sheeting over the wall (though I don't remember it being there and can't imagine why we might have had it hanging around). Needless to say, to the left there is just some green vegetation beyond the open-sided 'shed'.
Again, thanks for commenting. Found your 'Sunflower' shot an unusual one..

Here here! This animal has attitude. I'm wondering what that pattern in the wall is behind. Quite a nice pattern to have as a background. I'm an amateur Len but I'd say it's c technical fault to the composition that I can't work it out. Still it aint technique that interests you so much as content is it. Nice to have a chance to see a beautiful creature.
