Hi Sue - I used the minimum manipulation here - only a slight adjustment in contrast, brightness and sharpness. The colours are derived from right to left:
* Deep reds - wet oxidising metal - Rust,
* Blue-green tones - degenerating paint, discoloured by heat (drum used for barbeques!) and creeping rust
*Light blue/grey - a weathered label on the drum surface
Hope it make sense!

Love the wash of colours here... are these caused by the rust or nicely manipulated in Photoshop? Very effective.
