I have a huge smile on my face right now. This is so adorable. so glad you captured this and explained the photo she drew. my 4 year old loves to draw people too but for some reason she leaves out the bodies and draws huge heads with arms and legs sticking out of the head. LOL. go figure. ehhehehee I love children's drawings they are always so fun and pure. this is a 7 all the way. :)

Oh, Elizabeth, you are much more observant than I!! She is definitely a Daddy's Girl...I think you've got something there!

What a wonderful portrait, and drawing! She draws awesome people... wow! And I love the story behind it. :) I love the way she holds the paper and the eyes peeking from behind... I'm adding this to my favs :)

Love the story behind this. Indeed it is Dad's special day, she even gave him hair and toes! Look on the bright side Mom, at least you're smiling :) Does the purple drawing of herself and the purple on Dad's chest mean that she is in Daddy's heart? Hmmm, I love a kid's world.

Great shot as a memory. We keep all our kids drawings like these, but taking a photos of them presenting their work is an even better idea. Great idea!

Thanks, Keseph...I kept telling her to grab the paper on both sides with all her fingers and she kept giving me this fingertip business! She gets stubborn when the camera comes out, but probably a good thing, as her 'pose' is better than what I suggested!
*and by the way....where did you get your nails done? ~ wanted to add that comment and forgot ~*
