There's a beautiful wispyness to this one. You're really getting to grips with this...

Fantastic shot!!! Simpler and therefore 'bigger impact'... next to the first one in this series (which had a real 'clear' figure in it and a great diagonal composition, which I totally forgot to mention....!!!) I really like this one!!! Great tones, and it's whatever one sees/wants to see in it..... ;-D!!!

I agree - this one's amazing, Laurie! For me it has somewhat dark and ominous overtones - a grinning skull on the right, a curved dagger at top-center... Looking at it longer I can see other, more benign figures, too, but my first impression was of spooky things! (Really glad about the no psychoanalysis, now!)

Great series Laurie, love all the different shapes created by the food coloring. It really opens the mind to see beyond the usual abstract shapes and you can start to see faces, figures, and more.

Another creative and effective series Laurie. This is the pick of the series for me - it somehow seems to have a bit more impact than the others, possibly because of the slightly simpler and more minimalist shapes of the food colouring in the water and the already mentioned suspicion of faces in the water....

Well done and another excellent series!

Very original and not as 'busy' as the other two. Thanks for sharing!

I see masks/faces in this one, scary faces...wow and one perfectly large face in the dark mass on the left...this is really neat stuff Laurie, a visual study, definitely creative and original work...I love these...Linda
