You have 50 comments on this shot Marcus so I'm sure there's nothing more I can add other than that I'm totally awestruck as always. I do however like the background to this one. Although camouflage like it does highlight him.

Hi Marcus,
On the weekend, I saw an amazing site from the kayak. A small falcon, or kestrel. was hunting down a barn swallow. It took him a couple of minutes, but finally got him after two hits in mid-air. He hit the swallow quite close to me the first time. Needless to say, I didn't even attempt to take any photos. This was an extremely speedy situation.
