Hi Petal! This is the same kind of the flower in my lastest uploads, in different colour. Loved the snow white colour here and the light is super. :-) Congratulations!!
Thank you so much for your comment there.
PS: I loved your bio, very creative way to tell who you are. ;-)

You might not have lost anything, but you certainly did find a lovely subject matter to shoot and share with us. The presentation is perfect as a square image, and the shot is almost a black and white with just that touch of green and the golden center of the flower. Well seen - well captured. Jan

Great flower. Nice detail, and vibrant colors. At first I didn't like the green grass (?) sticking out on the right, but then noticed a silimar piece sticking out at the bottom, and it seems to fit. I would probably lighten the image towards the top and darken it towards the bottom to even out the brightness on the flower.

Haha! I can just see you now lying on the ground getting this with people stepping around you wondering what that mad dutch woman is doing!
Well worth all the funny looks though - the softness and delicacy of the textures is really well captured as are the central stamens! No sign of under or over exposure either which is excellent given the dark background. I keep wondering what you would be capable of with a full size dSLR!!!
Well done Petal...
Alastair
