Interesting and also somehow "scary" silhoutte?s. Without reading any about i got the feeling that this are a industry area and that the air are very polluted. Maby i?m so WRONG! Hm, not so far away! Anyway - you captured mood and a interesting silhouette!

Thanks for the comment Tjaart - very valid. In this instance I placed the power station almost in the middle since it is such a strong issue of division in our society. I then tried to balance the glare on the beach with the clouds. The footsteps are an imp[ortant element since it leads us into a situation from where there is no apparent escape. Hope it clarifies. I like the combination of fluffy clouds and sparkly beach broken up by the sharp silhouettes, and I like the way the power station is shrouded in mist too. Great contrast - super shot.

Joggie as stated elsewhere, excellent work and preparation, all coming together to provide excellent story, atmosphere and mood.
However, I would like to see more clouds and less sand, so for me the horison cuts the photo in half - trying to force you into rule of thirds i guess....
