This is a beauty Don - sorry I missed this when you first uploaded - was out-of-state, and then have been having "issues" with my computer. Congrats on BIP. Jan

Congrats Don.
Liike it is the case with strong macros, this one is almost an abstraction. I find it very pleasing.

No Carsten, I had it on a tripod and the flash on a cord hand held off to the side. I am too shaky to hand hold many any more. Thanks. Don.

I like the colours and the composition - it reminds me a bit of a tongue!
I also like that it is nice and sharp and I like the frame - I think the only improvement would be to try and reduce the noise a little.
Very nice.

Yes Chris, it is very hard to get things in focus. You have no back focus (closer to camera) Have to focus on the nearest object most of the time. Sure have to keep moving the focus point around in the viewfinder. Thanks for the great comments. Don.

Marvellous macro, Don!
I've been experimenting with a friend's Nikon 60mm macro lens over the past week and it's harder than it looks to get things sharply in focus.
Well done!
Best regards, Chris
