Beautiful image, Darlene...soft and gentle as a mother's love.
I know how difficult it is for family when a loved one falls critically ill. My younger sister is suffering from endstage liver failure, a result of a rare disease. Her son has volunteered as her living donor, and they're preparing for the transplant at UCLA shortly.
My prayers and thoughts are with both you and Krystal. Have faith, be strong, and don't worry about your friends. As Ellen said, "we'll keep your seat warm for you."
