striking clash of imagery, with the 'virginal' rose shooting up from the spot downtown (scuse my french) and the beautiful belly bearing life within. real good one! /hansi

hi dc smooth. thanks for your comment. this is my first try on pregnancy portrait and i had a wonderful experience on the shoot. a pity that i do not have a better equipment (studio with pro lights and better camera) for the shoot and most of my images are not sharp and focus. Nevertheless, I had alot of fun on this series.

hi Matt, thanks for the comment and your idea. the adjustment you made on the rose is more outstanding in contrast with the dark background. I think it's a good suggestion. thank you.

A very subtle image, I like it. I hope you don't mind but I had a little play with the rose to make it just a bit bolder. It may not be the mood you wanted to create but I would appreciate your thoughts.
Thanks

One of the best pregnancy photos I have seen recently on this site. Very nicely done, excellent lighting and color. I really like the focus on the rose and the center of her belly, which fades to softness around the edges.
Pregnant models are always beautiful and my favorites to view and work with as a photographer. You have done well and I'm certain she will treasure this photo which has captured a very special time in her life forever.
