hi there,Prue friend.....the younger girl steals the show....her expression shows a child's curiosity IMO...the little brunette looks like i did at that age which really caught me by surprise! Looks like her dad is giving her something, perhaps bread for the goose?...good DOF and am impressed with the tonal range...very good candid..your timing and good focus made this one! peace, gayle

Hello Brad my dear, so good to hear from you..this is wonderful..first of all I love the tones, perfect, a nice gradation of greys, and the definition in the little blonde girl's hair is lovely...a cute moment between the goose and the girl, looks like they're each waiting for the other to make the first move, hahaha. The angle of the father"s (?) hand taking or putting something in the little girls hand, and her arm make a nice lead-in to the main action which for me is the little girl and the goose. The interaction between the father and daughter is nicely contrasted with that of the little girl and goose....very nicely seen and captured Brad...I hope all is well with you...:):)Linda

Hi Brad,
there is a lot going on in this image. My guess is: that's the reason why the image is so special. the shelter seeking girl on the left and the curious girl on the right. great moment to combine these different feelings.
no advice from my side =)
best wishes, Thilo

Hi Bradley... To be honest, I don't have the knoledge to advice you on this one... But I do have the clear sensation that this is a great photo... It is spontaneous, there is comunication between all the elements... And there is beauty, lot of it!, reveasled by the tones, the short DOF, the croping... This absolutly beautiful!

I like the composition how the left girl start the "lines" and the goose end it! Also the different directions are interesting. The dark haired girl are concentrated with something we can?t see and other one staring at the goose with a fantastic cute expression! i?m also into B&W right now, but not posting so much of it yet, but b/w are great for portrait. Very good Brad!

The lighting is exceptional. You have caught such a captivating look of innocence and wonder on the little girl's face as she measures up the goose all the while feeling the support of her big sister's back against her. The look of tenderness and trust on the older girl's face as she gazes at what her father is placing in her hand is exquisite. This is a powerful and priceless piece of work, Brad. Your choice of B/W is perfect as it brings all the emphasis on their guileless faces.

Hi Brad, great capture here, love the interactions going on...between the girls, goose and girl, and dad and girl. Many fine elements to study. The expressions of curiousity on the bird and youngest girl, whose expression, with those eyes and mouth eyes caught so well, is perfection, but no more so than that of the other daughter studying her father's hand extending to her. I don't like gushing praise passing off as critique, but this image really deserves noting less Brad. Wonderful
Randy
