The slight overexposure at the head of the bird makes its contours and shining in front of the darker blue of the sea very strong. Together with the sharp focus and the color transition from almost white at the bottom to deep blue at the top, this works really very good!

Wonderful capture, the detail is excellent and I really love the shadow, and all on the wonderful layers of colours starting from the pale dry sand to the deep blue of deeper sea. Excellent composition
