Thanks Robert. Take a look at a different shot of the Texas Sage that I uploaded last night. The bushes are loaded with blossoms. Jan

This is a beautiful capture. The focus is great, and the colors are wonderful, I like the way that you cropped it. I think it leaves more intrest into the flower itself. -Robert

To be serious, I have always liked the Texas Sage - that is grown everywhere here in the Valley of the Sun. Like the colors, but more because it is so easy to grow here. Plants native to Arizona are rare - mostly cactus blooms and wildflowers that appear in the spring if the rains are good to us. Yes, I do find myself missing Texas. We lived in the San Antonio area for about 9 years and really liked it there. Also, really liked Austin and New Braunsfels area. Two of our four children were born in San Antonio. Thank you for your compliments - really appreciated as you take such wonderful florals. Jan

Wonderful Photograph Janice, Great Colors and Clarity. Very well presented. So, trying to grow non native plants there Hmmmmm? Don't you have enough native plants in Arizona? Or, do you wish you were here in TEXAS??? LOL ;~} (Just kidding) Texas Sage in Texas.... http://www.usefilm.com/image/833215.html http://www.usefilm.com/image/511194.html

Thanks Quinton - I thought about doing that, but without a closer crop it almost looked like a floral bouquet the way those two little flowers are nestled deep in the leaves. Will play with it somemore and see what I get. Jan
