About This was a real log cabin! You can see the remnants of the mud they used to fill in the cracks between the logs.

Splendid work Dave - I dig the tactile textures and overall composition. Perfect choice for B&W.

The arrangement of the lines in here gives it an abstract look... good choice of the b/w tones and nice texture.
My regards,
Khaled.

The veriety of your photos is amazing, Dave. From huge to tiny, from realism to semi abstract as this excellent one. Can you explain to me what you mean by B&W or toned?
Thank you for your kind comments on my "Light from within 4 and 5."
Best regards,
Rafi

Excellent perspective. It looks like it is still sound. All I would need to do is fill in the cracks again. Looks like good workmanship. Del.

The detail you've got here Dave is incredible. The growth rings on the log ends show up perfectly. B/W is spot on for this shot.
I'd love to be able to study one of these buildings close up. Can never understand how they get everything level at the top or form a gable end.

This is really nice in the B/W, the details and lighting on the wood is beautiful. An amazing structure, which I assume took a while to make. Alison

Great lines Dave almost has an abstract quality to it..your tones are very good...removes any distraction, but I bet this wood would be pretty in colors too..and I also like the angles, definitely an alternate perspective...well done...:):)Linda
