Traveling to Two Brooks in their own car should be advised that the last fourteen miles into Two Brooks is a rough logging road. 4 wheel drive is strongly advised. You must drive very slowly. The bush road turn-off at St.-Jean Baptiste de Restigouche, New Brunswick (Canada), on the Campbellton - Kedgwick highway is sign posted ?TWO BROOKS?.
For those bringing their own fly rods a medium or heavy is recommended as the salmon tend to be large. Some of the water is fished with heavy and double barbed hooks (sizes 2 to 6). Wet flies such as Night Hawk, Green Highlander, Silver Doctor, Black Dose, Dusty Miller, Lady Amherst and hair flies are popular. Dry flies are also used, especially in the latter part of the season. In addition to the above, you should pack and carry with them, a reliable Mosquito and Black-Fly repellent.
The fishing rights extend on both sides of the river running downstream from the camp for approximately one and a quarter miles in the provinces of both Quebec and New Brunswick.
Salmon fishing at this camp is not permitted on Sundays, however Trout fishing in the Brook is permitted.
It should be noted that it is illegal to use or possess spinning equipment on the Restigouche River.
