About This is the second in an attempt to produce a "series". I have made five images that I will post in their B&W incarnation as well as their original color. My goal is the get some criticism on these images to determine whether or not I will print them and make my first approach to a local gallery. Thanks in advance for any and all comments.

I think that is you were to desaturate the color image just a bit, darken it, and increase contrast, it would be perect.

I like the DOF here. I lik how the first faucet in out of focus and the second, covered up a bit by the former, is in focus. Very interesting image.

This is precisely why I am posting these images Klifton. To get some un-biased, honest input. For that I am grateful to you. Thanks for your suggestions and ideas.

I think my weak point may be in naming this series. It is not really all about the faucets.

This is a beautiful photo, Tim!

I'm absolutely no expert... But just my feelings in looking at this photo... From my standpoint...

I'm definitely a low depth of field fanatic. I'll use the widest aperature available to me, and then add blur and lighting to further enhance this... However... The eye kind of gets distracted and confused on this particular photo, to me.

Your focus is clearly on the faucet, however, whatever is in the foreground confuses things. The brightness level on the foreground is fairly intense, and being thrown out of focus further confuses things, to me!

To me, the crop is too tall, taking further focus away from the faucet itself.

I hope you don't hate me for my comments. This is YOUR photo, convey your message in your way. To me, this photo has too many conflicting messages though.

This photo has HUGE potential, you may play with a few different angles, crops, and work with the selective focus to get your message across. If it weren't for the title, I'd be a little lost as to what the message was. :)

Sorry for the long-windedness... Feel free to shut me up at will. LOL. :)
