Nice repetition of patterns in this, and the alternating light and shadow down the corridor give it some nice dimension! It looks so empty!

Very nice picture Alison. I really like the sense of depth. The end of the corridor seems so far away..it makes me wonder what is behind each brick column.

Alison, this is marvelous. What an inspiring place to take music lessons. The perspective of this shot and the lighting and details are magnificant.

Great photo, Alison; it takes one's eyes along the corridor and out of the photo

Neal thank you for the comment on my bio pic, Kessia took it yesterday, my kids told me the old one didn't look like me, probably because it was far enough away not to show the wrinkles, oh well at 55 I guess I should have a few character lines. :) Alison

Very good use of perspective, nice composition. The only thing I would work on is the graffity on the column, somehow incongruent with the atmosphere

That's a lovely new photo of your face you put on your pake, dear Alison and an extermely well composed photo above, leading the viwer's eye into the darker back. Very instructive plaque below.
Thank you for your very kind comments on my "Light from within 2", "Figure in colors 2" and "Clay dolls"
I'll attach the latter as you (and I) wanted it to be.
Best regards,

And after the last repair orderly in 1855 for the corregidor, it was ruined again when Alison Du Flon knocked down due to the horrible sounds that she made and she called music, Hahahaha!!

Hey, Ms. Du Flon, I like your new picture at the top. Of course it's probably been there for months and I'm just now noticing it. I like this picture too. It looks like a place filled with ghosts and spirits. Nice perspective, subtle colors and beautiful, soft lighting.

Excellent piece of historical photography. Love the perspective view. Excellent composition with the line of pillars all visible down the corridor.

Well seen and shot Alison.
