I just noticed... that there is a fresh oyster within...
Perfecto...
Let's get a large case... and have an UFers party...
Recall in Paris, having lunch and being served 14 or so different oysters... none of which presented a pearl... but the hostess was... in spite of being a quasi dowager... at nbr. 1 Rond Point, Champs Elysées...

hi, beautiful shot!...love the lighting which is so sumptuous.....DOF and selective focus is very well done,Lily....who doesn't love pearls?! and BTW, perfectly ok that you had same suggestion as one of mine on Angelo's duck image ;> i think as women that is first one to come to mind about the directions and the male species..LOL..regards,gayle

Excellent colours and concept Lily! The overall lihting really does have a pearlescent feel to it (what was the lighting?). Love the DOF chosen. It highlights the pearl in the oyster perfectly and then allows t eyes to seek out the ther pearls but not to focus on them. Its definitely one of those images that I like more each time I see it, and on each viewing see soemthing new. Superb shot Lily.
