I have to agree with Hugo on this one. This could have been spectacular if the the DOF were a touch deeper so as to include all the front of the tree. This would then bring the textures of the tree into clearer focus which would then dramatically lift the interest in the image. On the other hand, the colours you've captured are simply amazing and so vivid!

Nice presentation and the Dof has blurred the background perfectly. This is a very interesting view and i love the vivid colors. I would have liked to see a little more detail in the "enemy" but the in and out focus is also a cool effect.

Thanks for your comment Hugo ;) yes, the DOF is poor because I have shooted at f2; I have just tried to play with the focus on the many field of the tree.

Hi Jake, fabulous colours, and a very interesting title / subject. the DOF is a tad too slow, but it does work fine in singling out the subject from it's background. Very intereisting shot, with a very good angle to the light.
