Welcome to usefilm.
Good tonality, excellent use of depth of field (DOF) to blur out the background and bring focus on the face.
Glad you focused on the eyes - usually bringing focus on the eyes of animals and people really brings out the soul of the situation and is a great way to convey emotion.
Even though the subject is centered, I like the loose rule of thirds application to the focus plane. Gives it a bit of feeling.
